The Latest 2008 Show news...

At the Paper Cities KC show on July 20, 2008, Seeker won the Breed and a Group 3 under Judge Joe Walton. My naughty little Miss Jeannie (9 months old) got her 2nd & 3rd single points the same weekend.  She took WB on Saturday under Judge Mildred Bryant and on Sunday under Judge Joe Walton.

Seeker and Gary Vetter were busy again July 11-13, 2008 up in Duluth, MN at the Duluth Kennel Club shows.  On Friday, Seeker won the breed under Judge Joe Gregory and took a Group 4 under Judge Gary Deorge.  On Sunday, he took the breed again under Judge Mrs. Martha Olmos-Ollivier and took a Group 3 under Judge Martin Doherty.  Gary said Seeker got many compliments over the weekend. Thanks Gary for taking my boy up north and having more fun with him!

Seeker wins his first ALL-BREED BEST IN SHOW, in Sault Ste Marie, Ont Canada at the Algoma Dog Fanciers 6th show on June 29, 2008 under Judge R William Taylor handled by Gary Vetter!  Gary and Seeker are a well oiled machine when they compete together and I am so very proud of both Gary & Seeker for accomplishing Gary & Seeker's first All-Breed BIS!

At the Kettle Morraine KC show on June 28, 2008, Tabitha, Karmakees Secret Power of KJ got her first championship point under Judge Michael Dachel.  Tabby is co-owned by myself and breeder Patti Hobbs of Kokomo, IN.

Exciting news at Wund-R Y Kees - Tess just received her Championship being shown by Nikki Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC.  THANK YOU NIKKI!!!!!!!!!

Tess is visting Nikki for the time being and she took her to the Virginia Kennel Club dog show on June 21, 2008 and Tess took the 4 point major to finish her championship under Judge Edeltraud Laurin.   Tessie beat some lovely bitches to get this major win and I couldn't be happier for my dramatic, clowny girl.  Thanks again Nikki!

At the Badger KC show on May 4th, Jeannie, Wund-R Y Forever In Blue Jeans got her first point under Judge Eugene Blake.  Jeannie was having LOTS of fun in the show ring, even made the judge laugh at her antics!  Well what do you expect for a 7 month old?

On April 27, 2008 at the Packerland Kennel Club show in Green Bay, WI, Seeker, Am & Can BISS, CH Wund-R Y's Best Kept Secret was awarded Best of Breed by Judge John Shoemaker and a Group 4 by Judge Lorraine Boutwell.  See photo below...

On April 19, 2008 at the Fond du Lac Kennel Club dog show, Andy, Wund-R Y Reflections in Time was awarded his 4th Three Point major win under Judge Robert Indeglia.

On March 1st @ the Wisconsin KC show in West Allis, WI, Seeker won the breed over 20 other Keeshonden and went on to get a Group 2 under Judge Carolyn Herbel!  See the photo album to see the picture.

On January 12, 2008 at the Winnegamie Kennel Club show, Andy, at 14 months of age took WD for his third 3 point major win under Judge Ms. Denny Mounce.  Now Andy had accumulated 3-3 point majors to date.

Seeker & Starr have both been invited to the Eukanuba National Championship show this year in Long Beach, CA the first weekend in December.  The Top 25 dogs in each breed are invited to attend and compete as well as any dog that got an All-Breed Best in Show or any dog that finished it's championship from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Starr finished out of Bred By Exhibitor class so she is invited along with her Uncle Seeker.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend as I have my newest litter of puppies at home now and another planned shortly after they leave for their new homes.  Good Luck to all attending this years Show of Shows!

I do want to thank all those that have helped me show my "crew" of dogs at the local shows the past 3 years.  Cody & Jerry Sulewski, my two favorite Junior Handlers and their mother Cheryl; my Minnesota Junior Handler Kevin Freeman, Charlie & Sandra Zimmerman, Carol Millar & Lisa McDonald, Mike Reinke, Tim Mauleg & Dale Hafner, Gary & Candy Vetter.  If I forgot anyone, please scold me so I add your name to the list!  Without help from all my good friends, I wouldn't be able to show this many dogs.  I am very lucky to have many good friends and Thanks again to everyone!
